Healthy Families is a free and voluntary home visitation program. The Healthy Families Program will teach you about your child’s developmentand parenting techniques. We can assist you in setting and achieving goals for yourself and your family. Any family living in Burlington County, regardless of income, that is either pregnant or has a baby less than three months old can participate in the program. Healthy Families will stay with you as your child grows to help you through the changes until your child reaches five years old. The TIP Program provides home visits to families currently receiving TANF that have not been assigned a work activity. The program is completely free and voluntary. Families will receive information on child development, parent-child bonding activities and positive discipline methods. Participants will also receive assistance in locating volunteer and work activities. Participants must be involved in 35 hours per week of child development and work activities to remain active in the program and continue receiving TANF assistance. Any family residing in Burlington County that is not yet assigned to a work activity and is either pregnant or has a child less than 12 months old can participant in the program.
